Cooking Demonstration Today in Worcestershire

by WannabeTVChef @ 2007-06-03 - 02:59:40

Sunday I will again be firing up the Barbie and showing the audience how versatile outdoor cooking really can be once you master the basics. Last week I cooked a complete 3-course Sunday roast, starting with a hot smoked salmon served with a pineapple salsa. Followed by Roast Chicken and Roast Lamb with all the trimmings.
I rounded things off with an Apple and Custard Flan served with Toffee sauce.

June 3rd Barbecue demonstration will be more traditional BBQ foods, Smoked & Braised Brisket of Beef Sandwiches with homemade Barbecue sauce.
Cajun Belly of Pork with Bean Casserole. Lemon and Honey Roast Chicken. But then on the wilder side Vanilla Ice-cream with Balsamic Strawberries and even Pizza. So perhaps this might be your last chance for a while to see me unravel the mysteries of the art of Barbecuing.

In the last couple of weeks a lot of my time has been taken up with trying to get flooring laid in my new apartment. Hopefully by Monday this will be all done and I can have more time to blog.

I give Argentinean BBQ classes in Buenos Aires. If anyone ones to come visit Buenos Aires, I will be happy to invite you to our special BBQ class "the Argentine way"
I would really like to be able to watch from here in Buenos Aires how British people prepare their barbecue.
I have been in Englan numerous times but I never tried their BBQ:-(
Our class starts by going to the butcher's shop, then preparing chimichurri, ensalada criolla and then the asador (person incharge of BBQ) starts the lesson.
Here in Argentine we prepare a BBQ at least twice a week!

The same thing you do with food, transforming it into art, I saw it done with Whirlpool Parts. I never thought a washing machine can be a piece of fine expensive art.

I never got to see a live cooking demonstration. I've seen ones on TV with chefs spinning their knifes in the air, very fast chopping and so on. I did assist at an appliance parts demonstration.

I just hope that after trying that food they won't have to follow an eating disorder treatment. I don't really trust those guys. I only eat from the people I know. Maybe I'm being paranoic.. or just very protective.
